We recommend choosing the size that looks the best in your space rather than putting too much emphasis on the heat output. We can send you full-size posters of the three FireBob sizes so that you can ‘try before you buy’! Contact us if you’d like us to post one out to you.
We have to label the fires with nominal heat outputs (5kW, 10kW, 15kW for the three different FireBob sizes), but you can regulate the heat generated using the air control and the amount of wood you apply.
You can use your local stove installer or we can connect you with the nearest one from our list of recommended installers. Give us your postcode and we’ll put you in touch.

The FireBob woodburner is perfect for new builds and extensions. If you’re working on a new house build or extension then we can send you the FireBob ceiling bracket first, and then your builder can get that in position whilst constructing the ceiling and roof.
The FireBob itself can then be delivered later in the project when the messy building work is completed.
You may be able to claim back the VAT on the purchase of your FireBob if it’s going into a new build property.
The FireBob woodburner itself, the flue from the FireBob to the ceiling, and the ceiling fixing bracket are included in the price. Oh, and delivery too!
We will make the flue to suit your ceiling height, and the fixing bracket to suit your ceiling whether it is sloping or flat.
We don’t include any external flue within the listed prices as this tends to vary considerably with each installation, but we can quote for this too based on your requirements.
Alternatively, your installer might wish to supply the external flue parts (twin wall insulated flue, roof flashing, rain cap).
The external flue is a shiny stainless steel finish as standard but is also available in black or can be powder coated in any RAL colour.
Yes. To satisfy UK building regulations you will need a hearth that extends 225mm in front of the FireBob. We can supply these in steel, glass, granite, or slate.
Yes! Both the FireBob and the BioBob rotate a full 360 degrees.
So far we haven’t found a ceiling that is too high. The highest we have done is 13m from floor to ceiling!
